43 defensive awareness with 72 stand tackle just doesn't feel right somehow Looks so weird

I feel he would be a great pairing with Frenkie at Barca. One powerhouse next to an elegant midfielder will be amazing
avatar
As a twin, I would hate that
avatar
could be a great griez replacement in the future
avatar
Yeah him and omorodion would COOK in the future
avatar
Yeah but ea and google are wrong a lot of the time
avatar
2k is shit ffs
avatar
or at this rate he’ll end up like Pedri
avatar
Yeah until 90% of the “big clubs” who he wants to sign him turn around and say “nah you choose to go to that shit league, too much of a risk” There were clubs interested in signing him in Europe, so he really should have just hung on and someone would have grabbed him. I understand that this was such a big money deal moving to Saudi Arabia and someone his age with that sort of money and what he could do for his family etc seemed like too good an opportunity to turn down. Downside is he’s ruined his opportunity in Europe.
avatar
What went through Koeman and Enrique’s mind starting Pedri every single game at just 17 years old! ngl that was a time when he actually had the lungs to survive every minute of every match, the mind will keep convincing itself to push further but the body gets the short end of it all you guys need better Physiotherapists.

you can bet your ass that i’ll be celebrating each and every individual loss that this meaningless and pathetic club will suffer this season and that they will spend the rest of their already pathetic history playing in the very lower tiers of professional football

Guardiola plays with inverted fullbacks so it made sense in buying Cucurella because his best performances is when he is just behind the 8 or next to a dm... Right? hear me out on this one WHY THE FUCK DO WE PLAY HIM AS A WIDE MAN MUCH LESS AS A CENTRE BACK AS WELL? because as far as I can tell, whenever he plays as an LCB he still sits wide half the time and can't move in the centre because he gets caught out on the counter even and even when he sit out wide the man tries his best to mark his man much less take the ball of him but fails. Cucurella gets unnecessary hate but at the same time 60m for a player would make you think this guy is world class, he plays like Zinchenko but with a mental disability that makes him process things around him slower than the average newborn baby.

Burnley play long balls, that's what he means and Weghorst being 6'6 should be better in the air.

What John Coleman does seems incredible to me. manages to keep them in league one, being one of the teams with the least budget and also manages to compete with teams with much more budget and that have the best players in league one (Sheffield, Ipswich, Portsmouth, Charlton)

Not controversial, Barca fans like to deny it but hes just way too injury prone

He won't switch Sporting for a lesser or same-quality club. When he is ready he will try to be in a bigger club.

EA need to realise they need to completely reset Iwobi in FIFA 23. This isnt even the same player. They are so lazy its astonishing, they cannot even be bothered to make his primary position CM yet line him up in CM in our best 11. Stamina is way out and he should be minimum 78 ovr with 82 potential! I wouldnt be cheeky enough to say give him 5 star skills but if 4 and a half was a thing he would be a contender. #eafixiwobi

should we go for Ziyech again? chelsea open to sell him
avatar
Why? Cornet isn't a LB in the slightest, only played there cos he had to, plus we're likely to sign Targett permanently.
avatar
With that Messi downgrade dude has now officially become the best player in FIFA

But they don't want them back? Nothing will happen to Chelsea either

Nkunku would be eligible for the CL as the "cup-tied" rule was abolished in 2019. For instance, Haaland played for Salzburg and Dortmund in the same CL season after his winter transfer.

I was also thinking of future midfield transfers to support the future 4-3-3 Arteta wants to play (which I admire), but I wonder if we might not need someone who's a bit more used to playing deeper than Maddison who I suggested earlier, and someone with a bit more defensive power (John McGinn was a name I saw suggested, who I like very much as a player.) I honestly don't know what kind of player Arteta is looking at to play this role in the future. In my mind, Partey will play as the 6, Saka on the right, ESR on the left (he's so good there imo) and Odegaard will play as the right sided 8 (occupying the right half-space he loves so much). If you attack then in the 3-2-5 or 2-3-5 that we do (where Tomiyasu will make forward runs higher up the pitch to support Saka), we'd need someone in the left half-space who's also more of a supporting player, rather than an outright attacking one. Mikel Merino is a name I like (haven't watched him an awful lot, but his statistical profile looks very promising), Milinkovic-Savic is another interesting one (not left footed though) and Jude Bellingham would probably be the gold standard, but probably way above us atm (also right footed). I don't know, it all depends on the type of player Arteta wants. If we're using City as a comparable (particularly that 17/18 City side), their team was (off of memory): Ederson; Walker, Otamendi, Laporte, Delph; D. Silva, Fernandinho, De Bruyne; Sane, Aguero, Sterling. So, City also played either a 2-3-5 or 3-2-5 in build up (Walker would play very similar to how Tomiyasu is playing now, alternating between being an extra CB and a supporting "midfielder"). Fernandinho would obviously stay back, and Delph would drop into midfield. Your front five would then be from right to left: Sterling, De Bruyne, Aguero, D. Silva and Sane, with Sane and Sterling being very far out wide. In this Arsenal side, Sane would be replaced with Tierney, Silva with ESR, Aguero with Auba, De Bruyne with Odegaard and Sterling with Saka. But, because Tierney (the LB) is there, you'd need someone in midfield to play a bit deeper than what D. Silva did in City. Still, I wonder if Maddison (or someone like that) maybe could still work, because it opens up the possibility of more positional rotation between the LCM and ESR (who def can drop deeper). Idk, I think it's an interesting conversation, and I am interested in what Arteta wants from a player like that. The one asterix is what AMN could become at Arsenal. On one hand, he has the tools to potentially be a more supporting midfielder, who can still roam forwards. I just question whether the quality is really there. Again, it's a fascinating case, and I really don't know what is right or what Arteta wants. You could make very good cases for either type of player.
